King Street Loft

This property was acquired preconstruction in an up and coming area. It was delivered very raw, with only primer paint and drab, unfinished concrete floors.
The concrete floors were polished and finished with a leather effect. Custom lighting, draperies, paint finishes and wall coverings were selected and installed. A California king sized bed was designed from scratch and built using spalted maple.
Leather tile was applied to the wall behind the spalted maple bed. A custom piece of artwork was designed in conjunction with an artist, and set in a recess to give the effect of a mural.
These highlights and other touches of art and furnishings resulted in a dramatic, warm and comfortable urban enclave. It was used as a very successful vacation rental property, and sold after the area became extremely desirable and the Canadian currency increased.
